New addition to our family!
After almost a year of pondering, we finally gave in and accepted that we had been seduced by more than Stella’s promise of 90 miles per gallon – we thought that she was cute!
Sean and I are the proud owners (or will be as soon as our new mobilette arrives) of a tangerine Stella scooter. We decided that we could no longer justify the gas costs just to drive into Rhinebeck to go to a town meeting, or to bop to the movies. (We haven’t gone overly politically correct, we do still have the Kia and will probably squabble over who gets to drive the car on cold rainy days).
A big thank you to Julie at Scooter Centrale in Plainville, CT. They have a lovely showroom with people who seem to care equally about scooters and customers.
More info to follow with pictures of our new family member as soon as the big day arrives.

The scooter is sooo cute. I can’t wait to take a ride with both of you. Don’t worry – there’s enough room – I’ll just ride on the handlebars.

Does this mean we’re GRANDPARENTS? If so, we just must say “Be careful and safe riding!” It does look cute and the color suits you both.

Congratulations! She doesn’t look remotely like both of you but I’m not here to spread rumors
. Will she be a flower girl? She definitely doesn’t need a dress, her coloring is perfect. I can’t wait until she gives me a ride somewhere. Of course, one of the parents need to accompany us. Love always
