She’s here!
Friday 3:25pm EST, we are the proud (if that descibes the ecstatic, breath holding, love affair that we have after only seeing her once in the shop) owners of our very own Stella Mobilette. She arrived in a bit of a downpour, but not enough of one to stop us from taking a few shots as she rolled off of the truck – ok and a few more with my helmet on.
Joanne was kind enough to let me run skipping from the library to greet Stella, despite the fact that she had just rolled up with a brand new blue kayak on the top of her car – Happy Graduation from Richard. Rhinecliff is set to take the world by storm – by land or sea/river.
Couldn’t write yesterday, way too busy, well just admiring her, as our neighbors will attest. We did finally start her up and Sean took Nancy and I for a few spins around the neighborhood – video and still shots to follow. Stella Mobilette is even keener than we thought she’d be. Thanks for all of the well wishing from friends and family. Just letting everyone know that if you see us zipping along and we don’t appear to acknowledge you, it’s just that we’re afraid to shift too much and go crashing out of control!
Yes, we’re completely in love!

she’s de-lightful, she’s de-licious, she’s de-lovely – she is better than the movie DIVA- i was thrilled to be part of her maiden voyage over the hills and dales of rhinecliff -unless the law is reading this, in which case, the driveway is a great place to play on STELLA – it was fun being part of the hood on Saturday!

The saddest thing is seeing it idle in your driveway on beautiful days like this one. She is mighty purrr-ty though!!
